A sick male inmate from Stanley Prison died in a public hospital today (November 22).
The 77-year-old inmate reported sick and was subsequently sent to a public hospital for treatment on November 14. He was certified dead at 9.52am today.
The case has been reported to the Police. A death inquest will be held by the Coroner's Court.
The inmate was sentenced to imprisonment for 12 months for an offence of conspiracy to defraud.
