An inmate on remand from Lai Chi Kok Reception Centre reported sick and died in a public hospital today (April 13).
The 21-year-old male remand inmate reported sick and was subsequently sent to a public hospital for treatment on March 13 and was certified dead at 2.09pm today.
The case has been reported to the Police.A death inquest will be held by the Coroner's Court.
The inmate was pending court hearing for the offence of trafficking in dangerous drugs.
